Delona Pauline Worth, age 85, passed away on November 28, 2016, at John R. Williamson Hospice House. Born on January 8, 1931, in Devol, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Floye Rascoe Carelock and James H. Carelock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and the love of her life Royce F. Worth, three infant children, her sister Louise Payne and a brother, James "Sonny" Carelock.

Delona Pauline Worth, age 85, passed away on November 28, 2016, at John R. Williamson Hospice House. Born on January 8, 1931, in Devol, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Floye Rascoe Carelock and James H. Carelock.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and the love of her life Royce F. Worth, three infant children, her sister Louise Payne and a brother, James "Sonny" Carelock.

Pauline was the mother of 5: Three infant children who passed at or preceding birth, a son, Dewayne Worth and wife, Jeanette of Lawson, AR, and a daughter who was also her caregiver, Delona Faulkner of El Dorado, AR.

She was the grandmother of 6: Sherman Worth (Robin), Shari Powell, Karen Bell (Andre), Francie Berglund (Jesse), Alec Faulkner (Jessica) and Lakyn Faulkner. She was the great grandmother of 11 and had 7 nieces and 9 nephews.

In her early years, she was taught nursing by the Catholic nuns and was employed by Warner Brown Hospital. After leaving the hospital, she was employed and later retired from Cooper Industries.

Pauline was a loving and devoted wife, a wonderful and deeply treasured mother, grandmother, great grandmother, daughter, sister and aunt. She had a kind and gentle soul and dedicated her life to helping her family and those in need. There wasn't a selfish bone in her body. To her family, her heart was pure gold and her love unconditional. She led by example with compassion and understanding and always shared her words of wisdom. Delona Pauline was a woman of faith who loved the Lord and was of the Pentecostal faith. She was a true blessing and gift in the lives of those who loved her.


Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 30, 2016, at Young's.

Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, December 1, 2016, at Young's Chapel with Rev. Bob Inmon officiating. Burial will follow at Arlington Memorial Park under the direction of Young's Funeral Directors.
